Temp Guidelines for Hot Water PW?

I recently purchased a (Shark SSG-503537E/G 3,500 PSI 4.7 GPM 20hp) hot water skid. I got it for a great deal and everything works great. The only odd thing is it has a 6gpm legacy pump instead of the 4.7 gpm listed in specs. My real question is that i have searched all over the internet and cant seem to find a basic set of guidelines for temperature settings in different applications.....For instance - Hoods-Concrete-Vehicle-Siding-anything really. Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh Wells

Hoods and concrete - 200°, vehicles - 140° - 160°, house siding - cold - 100°

I was told that machine is set up that way to put less strain on parts and last a long time. They are designed to be a rental unit so are set up to take a little more abuse. You can change the pulley to get the full 6gpm but, I'm not sure the heater will heat the water as well.

I actually got it from a sunbelt rentals. They even shipped it for the price. I was expecting to pay at least 3,000 but i got it for less than 1,000. It has about 700 hours on it. I have been running it for the last couple of months and no problems. I was really skeptical about the deal considering the price but all is well. Thanks for the heads up on the pulley, Nick. I will probably leave it in its current configuration but worst case scenario, burner goes down at least i can up the gpm a bit. Thanks for the guidelines Russ. They are close to what i was thinking, i just didn't have anything to compare .
