Surface cleaner decision

I'm looking for a smaller surface cleaner. Narrowed it down between the Whisper Wash classic and the GP hammerhead. I have a 30" Steel eagle but im looking for a floating model for residential and smaller jobs. Is the WW $250+ better than the GP? I'm running 8gm @3500

Yeah the Whisper Wash Classic is the best floater. I think mosmatic makes some floaters too. Not just the swivel but actual surface cleaners. Could be wrong though.

I have a 21 inch Mosmatic brand surface cleaner,..it was a floater but I added wheels,..much better in my opinion. Funny thing is,..Mosmatic makes great swivels,..but when I bought it back in about 2004? or so,..it had a terrible swivel. It went bad in about 2 years,...and then I replaced it,.. and it still hasn't leaked to this day. It was a stainless steel,..but it rusted fairly quickly,Ha,Ha,..I painted it red and replace the wheels every couple of years and its perfect.

Funny stuff, I have one with wheels, and took the wheels OFF....haven't used in a few years though ever since I switched to Whisper Wash. Just shows though that everyone has their own preferences.

You could also use a whisper wash Aqua Pro, that's a 24" floater. An 8 gpm could handle that easy. I've been using it the it last couple of days, and it is residential friendly.

With 10.5 GPM? How do you like it?

It's friggin awesome. A few glitches. I have to upgrade to 1/2" hose for full pressure and flow. I did a 1620 sq ft driveway in 1 hour and 12 minutes yesterday. Super suds sucker works great with #3 orifice.

Sweet. I hear the 1/2" is heavy though. Maybe run 100'?

I have both. The hammerhead hasn't been touched in months.

Yep, I think that's the plan. all 1/2" from the pump, to the first 100 feet of hose. Then 3/8 for the last 100 feet. I'll just unreel the 3/8 hose and take it off for driveways, where I need all the psi and flow. For house washes, pool decks and enclosures, I'll just use the 1/2"-3/8" combo, since I really don't need that much pressure.

Gilbert, after using the 4 nozzle bar do you think you could go back to a 2 or do you like it that much? I haven't tried a 4 nozzle yet.
