tsf2021 and 22 hp predetor

Russ Johnson has everything u need.

Tom, what do you have besides the engine? Base? Pump? Unloader? Anything?
A Pressure Pro belt drive base will accommodate the pulleys to make 1750 rpms at the pump using a 3 groove B section 4.25" pulley on the engine and an 8.75" on the pump.
Trying to make 1450 is tough. For the horsepower, anything smaller on the engine than 4.25 is going to cause problems, and the pump pulley required to slow the pump down is just too big to fit in the belt guard.
If you want 1450, I'd recommend a gear drive.

Hey Russ got my unloader today with the pulley set-up you described what rpm should the motor be running thanks for your help

How many hours on that Predator Ralph?

How many charging amps does it have?

Any issues yet?

Thanks.

Chris , I bought two predators. The first one blew up with 210 hours on it. Don' know what happened, but I suspect it bent a connecting rod, or broke it. The other one has over 200 hours on it. So far, so good. it has aq 7 amp charger on it. I am afraid this predator won't last, just not sure, that's why I bought a subaru. Peace of mind.

Thanks Ralph.

Mine popped a fuse today. After really looking at the fuse I figured out the machine didn't blow it, the fuse was garbage from day one. I've never seen a fuse blow and leave a hairline crack in the filament with zero burn. The filament simply cracked. I only opened up the box as I couldn't hear the fuel Solenoid click when turning the key. I always carry a meter and figured out in a minute that the problem was in that box.

80 hours in and I'm in for a fuel pump and a fuse. Total downtime for the fuse was all of 20 minutes and it blew one minute after rinsing so it didn't piss me off too bad. Shouldn't have happened either way.

These motors have too many "Chinese low-bidder" parts in them. I'm going to continue to use mine as I have a 5.5gpm backup, but it doesn't exactly instill a sense of confidence when goofy shit happens.

The 420cc Predators are good. I'm not so sure on the new v-twin. Too many little issues, but I knew what I was getting into going in.
