Pump water supply air bleeding? ?

Anyone devise a way to bleed air after the filter? Something like a auto pop off valve. Or suggest a different filter than a Blue Top?
Think the issue is low pressure at some locations where air is also suppling my hose. The pump is tank fed and tee'd to force feed my filter. The air is coming from the tee'd force fed supply

Not sure what you're asking, but making sure your connections are tight and sealed. Also,..make sure your filter gasket is seating properly. What particular problem are you experiencing that your attributing it to air in the lines? Stuttering pressure, not priming or what?

Yes stuttering. After i bleed the filter its good than quickly happens again. The filter is building air quite often during small jobs. Tomorrow I'm moving everything out of the truck bed back onto a trailer. Never had an issue before moving to the truck bed. Its all pretty tight and hard to work on anyway . Going to hard plumb it with pvc and get away from poly braid best as possible. The hose clamps are a pita. Still not sure if it can also be from supply hose having a lot of air mixed with h20 going down the force fed line bypassing the tank. Sounds a little crazy. Hopefully just the plumbing

I've had this problem before, it sounds like it could be your filter. I would recommend a banjo Y-trap filter. It doesn't really restrict the flow and holds alot of sediment. Bill at PWS hooked me up with one of them and now it's running like brand new.

Is your bypass line aimed directly at the drain outlet? I use these clamps. So much easier. You can double them up to make sure.

Polybraid for supply line is not a good idea, it can/will suck closed when the pump is running, especially on warm or hot days.

I have the big blue filters on each machine and never have problems.

When I clean the filter screen I block the ball valve that is close to it between the filter and tank and then when I put the screen back in I close the collar almost all the way and then open the ball valve so it gets a lot of the air out of the filter. Once I start the engine I let it idle with the hose open to get the air out. If you start using the machine full throttle without getting the air out then that might be part of the problem but definately bad for the pump.

Hope this helps.

Ordering those hose clamps. Just moved the equipment back on the trailer. Just need to clean the tanks and start it up. If its all good I'll hard pipe the straight section and spa flex the pumps 2nd feed. Thanks again

Some of the blue Top filters come with a air-Bleed on the blue top..
It's the small button with the small screwdriver slots on top.
We tighten them frombeing loose from the factory allTheTime.

Running good no problems. Had to be my plumbing, it was a little funky. So I'm going to hard plumb the straight section then tee off to spa hose. Thanks guys
