The thing about condos/apartments/townhomes is that there are certain rules that are different... Can't start too early in the morning, cant run too late in the evening. No weekends. You have to constantly keep an eye out for residents walking by. Watch for patio furniture, door mats, decorations, open windows, broken windows, leaky windows, doors that arent closed all the way, door with no seal at the bottom, where are the residents parked... I could go on all day... There's more liability and certain logistics and precautions that must be taken. I'm just now wrapping up a 220 unit apartment complex. These people charge an average of $1300 per unit. Do the math. They've got plenty money to afford someone like you an I. I didn't discount my work. I'm actually making more per hour here than i am residential. Last thing you wanna do is underbid and then dread getting up every morning to go do it. This apartment job has definitely come with its headaches, but the check at the end will make it all worth it.
