Opinions, 2 machines or two trailers

I'm weighing my options. Consolidate my two trailers for 2 machines on one trailer? So 2 guys washing and one helper , or is 2 trailers one machine a piece more productive ? 2 guys on each rig. Appreciate any opinions. We do mostly residential

I would think 3 guys on residential work would be a little overkill. I personally would go with 2 guys per trailer with 2 trailers. Then again, I went to using flatbed trucks 8 years ago and I don't regret it one bit. I have the backup and reclaim units on a trailer if I need it though.

Just curious, what is the 1 "helper doing on a residential job? I typically run 2 machines, 2 guys. Both start at the same corner on a house wash and work opposite directions

I had 1 van with a 8 gal min Pressure Pro cold and one trailer with a 5 gal hot. I set up 1 flatbed f450 with both units with a big buffer tank and Love it and like having it all in one place. Sometimes I take a helper , sometimes I just do it myself. It is very multi functional. My vote 2 units on one rig.

Yep, cullen

Thanks for the replies. I would say our average home is 2-4hrs. Maybe the 8pgm would be a good addition to the 6 gpm machine. I was wondering if my guys will be stepping on one another. Guess it depends on size of the house.

Charlie. Don't worry too much about speed. I have a customers house that I First washed 8 years ago. It took 2 of us 4 hrs to do it. I just did it by myself in 2 hrs. Try to make your system efficient and consistent. My trailer has 3 machines and I have another in the bed of the pickup. On the big jobs I sometimes have 4 of us. All my machines are the same so one set of parts works on all machines.
