I just put this page together and loaded it up today. I'm interested to see if any has any problems seeing the pictures or anything else. I tried to set the site up so it fits on one page and there is no scrolling involved. I found out that this will only work if the screen size is set to 1024 x 768 on your monitor. Anyways, I lost my hard drive last year, and that took all my pictures with it. I only had a few pictures left because they were still on my camera. Hopefully I can update the site with some better pics once the new season starts. I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who uses Netscape.

Thanks,

Kris

Kris,
I had no problems viewing your site. I like the picture swapping with the mouse. I used Netscape to view it since you mentioned it, normally I use Earthlink DSL, but it is on the blink.

i view 800 by 600 so had to scroll..liked the site....one thing i noticed was that your email address needs to be hyperlinked so that outlook express opens.

Kris:

Sorry if I didn't offer enough information. I have been told that I have been a bit difficult to deal with lately. I am not sure why, but I believe I may have some "issues" to work out.

Your site is a good start, but it does need some work. Here are some suggestions that I hope will be more helpful:

You have a lot of space in between the top of the page and your headers or masthead. Go to zero margins.

Your headers or mastheads should be consistent from page to page. If you are going to change the picture, that's fine, but the size of the images should be the same. Using shared or included borders creates a more consistent look across the site and also helps load the pages faster. This will also help you on maintenance time and eliminate most hyperlink errors - you have a couple that link back to
http://templates.doteasy.com/ErrorPages/error404/

It looks like you created your site using pixel size as a guide - which is good, but you can write the page to resize to a percentage of the users available screen size rather than an absolute pixel size. This will eliminate the scrolling for most of your visitors.

Use different colors in your text (but keep to a color scheme) to highlight aspects of your main points. Your current font is all the same color, it's big, it's bolded, but your main points don't catch a user's attention or focus. Different colors and text sizes will help.

There are a few more suggestions I would offer, but I don't want to be too critical. I think your site does need work, but it is better than 90% of the powerwashing sites that I have seen.

If you are a member of the PWNA, you can go to our forum and post your site address with any questions you have. I will be happy to help you in any way I can. Beth Borrego also moderates this forum and I am sure she wold like to help as well.

No problems viewing. A great start, keep going and finish the other pages. You'll find yourself "tweeking" the pages all the time.

Clean up your text. Use breaks and something like bullet points to show what you do. Instead of lots of We do this and We do that. Make it easier to read by making a list of your strong points and use something like bullets or check marks.

Wouldn't hurt to add your name in the site somewhere.
