Customer Retention

I've heard that statistically:

"it can be 30-40% more expensive to acquire new customers than to hold on to your existing ones."

I was wondering what methods you have found to be most effective in retaining your "existing customer base" ?
 
Hi Andy,

Do what you say your going to do, when you said you would do it! And of course do it very well!

We feel that our customers only like us as much as the last work that we did for them. With that said, we have many customers that we have served for over 15 years, kitchens, fleets, and industrial accounts.
