New addition to the PWI family......

Mike Hughes

Former Board Administrator
Well, I guess it's time to share this..........

My wife and I are expecting our second child this May, due May 22nd. We just found out the day after Christmas that it is a boy.........no mistaking that. His name will be Kyle.

Our son, Brian is now four and looking forward to being a big brother.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby. There is so much that can go wrong, I think sometimes people really take it for granted when they are blessed with a healthy baby.

So far everything looks great, and for that we are grateful.

Everyone is teasing me that I'm raising my future crew........maybe we should go for a third.........then I can retire when they take it over........... :)

Happy New Year, everyone.

Mike, congratulations. I agree with the taking it for granted thing. My daugher Katie just turned 1. When she was born she was covered in merconium (spelling) and we were told if it wasn't taken care of right away she would have died. she is very healthy and the hospital did a great job, but I agree with you, pregnancy is very dangerous and many things can go wrong. I hope you don't experience anything bad. Good luck and God Bless.

Congratulations

Mike,

Great news Mike. I wish you and your family all the best and my prayers will certainly be with you. I have had my own tough times with children and pregnancies. I wouldn't wish that on anyone and am thankful that both times things turned out well. So, here is to smooth sailing and a healthy and joyous pregnancy. Hey Mike, why stop at three?

Well Mike, With all the rain we had this year I see you had some down time :D We just had a baby boy in Sept and are very lucky that everything went well. I will keep you in our prayers and I'm sure everything will be just fine.

We have a girl that is 4, and I have to say I forgot how much work it is keeping up with a newborn.

The best of luck to you Mike.

Congrats to you and your wife Mike, I know it has been a long time in coming so you deserve this very loving child.

Now about starting your own crew, if so you need a daughter to run the office too so better plan on TWO MORE.

Jon & Remy

PS: We are going to be grandparents again come April but our daughter and son in law don't want to know which sex this one is.

Congrats Mike! Great news! May 22nd... great time of year. Beautiful outside, everything blooming, great time for a brand new baby! :)

Beth & Rod

Congrats on the new addition.

Thanks all!

Beth, may is a beautiful time..............but, its also my busiest month of the year for the last three years running now.

The delivery will be a scheduled C section..........so at least I can plan around it.

Mike,
My youngest Daughter was born on May 23 2000. My other Daughter was born April 25 1995. If you believe in signs a Taurus is from I think April 21 - May 21 and they are bull headed like me and my oldest daughter. My little 3 yr old rug rat is as mellow as can be so May 22 is a perfect date.

As for me my Birthday falls on May 16 1961 and just forget about it as far as me celebrating my Birthday in May because like you say May is an Extremely busy Month. So I changed my Birthday to any and all Months but for May:)

I'll think I'll just change my Birthdate to July 5, 1978 Yea thats the ticket:)

Must have been the rain.

Hey Mark, You might be right about the rain/downtime. My wife is due with our first baby - July 6th.

Congradulations Mike, maybe we can bring our kids to PWNA and start a "pressure care program". Have little toy wands and toy flat work machines (modified toy mowers), so the kids can grow straight into the Biz.. Na, I wouldn't do that to my little guy. Plus, I couldn't take the chance of Everett hiring him away. LOL.

I have to ask you other parents. Is it normal that I feel like "I'm going out of business, I'm never going to make enough money to support my family"? Even though way back in the back of my mind I know everything is going to be fine. Oh well, I guess I'm just another scared first time father. Can I have some cheese to go along with this Wine (whine)? LOL
