Ron and Mike,
I have to say this is the best board I have seen for information and for looks. I do computer programmer/design/ ect so Ive the the good and the bad. So I just wanted to comment you on it.
I know I am one of the new members, but I figure I still put my info in. I have spent the last few days reading posts and still have the general section left. I just read the post on you asking if you should shut down the site. This is my reasoning to post. Anyhow, what I do agree is the site no longer has alot of active posting. I was looking at the dates and they were coming from 2001.
Never the less, I think the site can come back from the dead.
Some of my suggestions would put a how to section. I was currently looking for instructions and info on sealing concrete. This section would be a quick easy way to find that info.
Another would to get the form section going. I read tons of post and it was all fax here email me there. That is cumbersome for the sender and the reciever.
I also think being able to get regional sectors going so you can track and talk to people in the same region as you. Ive seem alot of post of guys asking for help and another member saying to call and come over.
I see you are asking for new moderators, I'd be happy to help. I may not have a complete background in pressure washing I still have some. Years ago while in highschool I pressured washed barnes, horse fenses, and country homes and resealing decks. As as repairing. My father did sub contracting so I learned alot of the over all basis of it. Ive been in the swimming pool area for three years and have done well. I started my pressure washing company part time over the summer and have been getting mentoring by a professional for the last year.
I would love to see the site come back to life.
So those are my thoughts, and know Ill have plenty more.
