Welcome to a new year on the Pressure Washing Institute Bulletin Board.
As the administrator that has been chosen by the founder of this board (Ron Musgraves) I have told Ron that I would do everything I possibly could to bring this board up a notch or two and make it the place for unbiased discussions pertaining to the pressure washing industries.
I will be focusing on several items that will be unseen from many perspectives but nonetheless very important. One such item is called search engine optimization (SEO) will bring PWI to the forefront of search engine results, thus gaining more members and more activity. We wish to do this without advertising dollars, banners, pop-ups and all the other less than popular things that are found proliferating the web.
I will also be following up on Ron's idea of having a rotating banner at the top of the main page that will highlight active members of this board with a link to their website. (This will not be a paid for banner and no revenue is generated by clicking or following the link) If it can be programmed in such a way that banner time will be based on post activity, this may encourage members to post more often.
I would also like to actively have members update their signature lines. This adds credibility and professionalism to each post and to the board as a whole.
I will be seeking new moderators to inject some additional spark. I have contacted all of the current moderators and asked that they stay involved as much as they can.
What I would like each members to do is to think about what they feel is missing from PWI, so that we can determine if it will be advantageous for us to add to this site.
As an Kitchen Exhaust Cleaner I have found of all the boards on the web, this is by far the most informative, most active and most diverse. I would like this to be said of the other areas also. So I would like to see more activity in those other sections, (Fleets, Roofs, decks, flatwork, houses...) Everyone here has a small piece of knowledge that they could share and in return for that one piece of info...each member should recieve hundreds of tips, some useful some not, some you have tried and some that might save you some money or time.
Be active, Be involved and let me know what you want to see here to make this the number one pressure washer board on the net!
