Whataburger

I heard that there was a TV news expose on the exhaust cleaning practices and cooking at the Whataburger chain in Texas recently. Did anyone catch that???

I gave a bid and inspection to a whataburger in jackson the other day. they have a hood cleaning company from tenn. coming to mississippi to clean it. The hood looked real clean as did the plenum but I noticed grease dripping from the duct work , so I went on the roof and as you guessed it , a whole year with know fan and duct cleaning . I actually got the manager on the roof .. He pretended to get mad and said we pay those guys $ 150.00 for this.. I said thats why it's not clean .. I told him my price was $ 300.00 and I am located 2 miles away.. He told me , " you must not get much work at prices like that " I said your right ... and left .. I guess when the roof ignites into a big blaze maybe they will figure $300 was a good price. I even went as far as to call the home office of whataburger and told them what I had found at one of there whataburgers and told them that if we could work a deal for all the whataburgers in mississippi that I could work with the price a little bit.. And I was told the cleaning were done by bid.. So I said if it's a price thing then I don't want to waste my time . and hung up .. I see this restaurant getting sited by the fire inspector real soon..

Whataburger is good. It is one of my preferred burgers.

I do think that they have an affiliate somewhere near you. It is called "Whatapossum"

I prefer Fat Burger or Fuddruckers.....

My favorite Burger Comes off my Grill in the backyard....... After cleaning burger joints for so long I cant eat at one anymore .. At least if I cook it I know its meat... Instead of horse, cat , rat , or possum....

Fat burger is good, I like them alot.

Russ next time you are up this way, they just opened a Whataburger in Alabaster right off 65. Its a good burger.

they dont freze the meat, at least not in phx.

There's some here in Tucson. First time I went there I ordered a combo, and the asked if I'd like to "whatasize" it. I said "whatawhat it??" Funny moment!

They didnt make it here, they closed a few of them in the Tampa Bay area. I have had them, there alright nothing to write home about.
