How good of a job is it doing?

These guys have a very professional site, my hat's off to them.
I'm way ahead of em Tim.

If you see my Hillbilly Roof Treatment thread, I suggest a biocide in a delivery vehicle.
Guess what, that delivery vehicle can be GLUE, LOL

IMHO, this is what they have done.
Instead of stopping at what is probably an effective biocide, they now claim benefits for the freaking glue as well.

And I thought I was the worlds greatest salesman .....

thats a pitch witch they're using right?
Yep!
Talk about a hard way to clean a roof!
First ya gotta spray it, then wait and HOPE it "takes".

Then, ya gotta go over it again and again until it "rinses".

Ahh .... but WHAT if spots still remain ?

Repeat process ...... or, turn up pressure.

Problem with turning up pressure is going airborne I would think ?

All the while, one is getting the "ultimate workout" while pitch with is hissing like a snake, LOL

I think you guys are missing their point.

They are not about cleaning roofs, they're selling a protection system - and they have a very good product.

They offer a polymer sealant that will actually provide significant wind resistance - something that a lot of people are looking for throughout South Florida and the Gulf States.

I have a 23 year-old arch shingle roof that looks brand new, but I lost about 7 rows in the last hurricane. If I had this product on my roof I doubt I would have lost any - but my insurance company is paying about $18,000 to replace my roof.

Check out their website and call the company - You might actually learn something.

i like the concept of selling protection also. but how do you balance offering a service that will make roofs maint. free and a service that offers to clean and maintain them? do you charge out the A@@ for the protection?
thanks for the perspective.

Is it necessary to add comments like, "You might actually learn something"?

The Enviroseal stuff ain't cheap!

So, yes, you charge a pretty penny for it.

Or, you offer a maintenance plan for your customers, or you do nothing, and HOPE like heck they call you again ?

yea i agree the " learn something " statement is kinda abrasive.

yea i guess that would be the thing? only offer the enviroseal if it's part of a maint. contract? then you would have to embark on a mathematical Odyssey to figure out what to charge?

The Enviroseal is supposed to prevent a Maint Contract.
And, it may very well do that.

So, you would either sell this stuff, or sell a commercial product like Roof A Cide made to prevent Algae if applied every two years.

you really want an answer ????

i would stay away from roof -a -cide because of the people more than anything else ..... just remember seeing a lot of mess involved with them on the boardsn in the past

That's a shame, but I've heard that from several guys around here.
