Nicoles Daily Marketing Tip 6/15/07 - 6/17/07

Place business cards, flyers, brochures or whatever you have at bulletin boards in the grocery stores, ace hardwares, feed stores and whever there is a public bulletin board.

**********************************************************

Sponser a park - volunteer your time to clean a park near your home or office. Pressure wash the playground equipment, picnic benches and the sidewalks and concrete under the picnic benches. Ask to post a sign in return for your services that says "Voluntarily cleaned by PowerWash Pro's LLC - with a tag line...

" Keeping a safe & clean place for our children to play" something along those lines, but not as cheesy

**********************************************************

Whenever you are out cleaning a home and you have an open appointment after that cleaning - have someone on your crew or if you are a one man crew - go door to door down the street. Dont be scared, we have done this and had good responses. Here is a script:

"Hi, Im Nicole from PowerWash Pro's and we were just doing an exterior cleaning on your neigbor Mary & Johns house down the street. We work in this area quite a bit and wondered if you had considered getting the exterior of your home professionally cleaned? ---WAIT FOR RESPONSE ---

NO WE HAVE NOT CONSIDERED THAT: Well if you have a minute I could give you a quick estimate and since I am already in the area and we have finished early I could make you a great deal....give me just a minute and I will give you a quote ----TALLY UP YOUR COSTS----

YES WE HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT: Great, Since we are already in the area and are running ahead of schedule let me give you a quick estimate - and your house can be spotless within the hour!! (*NOTE: People like things QUICK, RIGHT NOW, so when you say within the hour..they get excited)

NOW ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CLOSE THE DEAL...THEN BAM DOUBLE WHAMMY! AFTERWARDS PUT SIGNS IN BOTH YARDS -

Here is my belief on yard signs - I love them and cant get enough of them...homeowners want to have a sign in their yard, I think that it makes them feel good, "We have money and we can spend it" is what it says. Homeowners see these signs in their neighbors yards and they want one for thier yard too..they feel left out. Its free advertising and they will see that their neighbors hired you and they can obviously see your work so what is not to LOVE about yard signs.

Thanks Nicole.
I'm liking these posts. It gives me alot of fuel for thought. I actually have 3 parks within a mile of my house. Definitely something to seriously consider. There are also monuments to the various American War Veterans. Might be something else to consider maintaining for free??

Where do you get your yard signs. I went to a local printer and their prices were a little too high right now. Limited budget and all.

Thanks again.
