Any of you guys have to to send out your ACA letters this week? Apparently by law you have to let you employees know you are not providing health care and they can receive discounts on their health care from the marketplace by October 1st.

I don't know exactly, anyone with insight please chime in.

All I know is I filled out Part A and it was just fill in company name. Part B just fill in company info.

This was the form I used:

This page has all the form options:

For the record, my employees have been notified before Oct 1st. hahaha

We got the sample letters last night from ADP, and they were sent out this morning. ADP is a beautiful thing.

Last I read, small businesses aren't affected by this if you have less than 50 employees.

Last I read, small businesses aren't affected by this if you have less than 50 employees.

What you are referring to is that any company with over 50 employees has to legally offer health insurance to their employees. You have to offer health insurance if you have 50 employees or more. This is a letter that has to go out to all your employees and let them know that your company does not offer health insurance. And it has to be given to them by Oct 1st. Even if you only have 1 or 2 employees.

Then I believe they take this letter with them or send it in to receive discounts on their health insurance through the health insurance "Market Place" because their employer does not offer it. Obama Cares...

And also if you do offer health insurance you have to distribute a letter by Oct 1st too.
