All Flo Pump - What is the best Compressor?

I run a rol-air 125 PSI, 9CFM, I regulate the air 90PSI and always have plenty of air. all flo pumps kick a_ _ !

I run an Emglo wheelbarrow style air compressor. I keep it at 100psi and have no problems. The all flo is 3/8 and requires less cfm than the 1/2 pumps. Just about any of the wheelbarrow style compressors will work just fine.

I love my all flo! I was one of the lucky winners of Lori's roof cleaning pump giveaways! I have one crew that uses a 12volt Delavan 5850 and I use the all flo. They can't even come close to keeping up with me.

We just bought our second Rolair compressor, this one used off Craigslist.
Like Kory said, the larger the air tank storage, the better.
Thus a "hot dog" style, single larger tank air compressor is better then a wheelbarrow style dual small tank one, if you can find one ?
We have used Rigid compressors, Ingersoll Rand, DeWalt, and others over the years. A Rolair is at another level completely, as far a build quality goes. However, the "best compressor" is that good deal on Craigslist, when you NEED one, LOL
But IF you have a choice between a used Rolair, and any other used air compressor, that would be my choice, assuming it has not been beat to hell.

I am going to buying one of these in the morningand wanted to hear suggestions on the optimal air compressor for this set up.

I amthinking Harbor Freight only because of cost and warranty

Thanks.

Mike,

Check this out:
Rol-Air with 9hp Honda I'm sure you can get it for $450 or less, It's 270 miles from you. It must be at least 14CFM which should be plenty for the all-flow pump i think..

Good find Dimitri, it is much a bigger Air Compressor then the All Flo Roof Cleaning Pump needs, but it will be loafing. Better too much air, then not enough. Too much air will not hurt a pump, as long as rated pressure is not exceeded. In a Garage, you might see 5 air tools running at the same time off a single large compressor, or maybe just one air tool being used after hours, the extra air capacity don't hurt anything.
