Bandit/tank issue

I have had 2 bandits now and I keep having the same problem. After the first use my tank/chems turn brownish black with some kind of muck. And my soap bubbles up all brownish black also. It seems worse now that I have a full bypass system in place, but dont know whats causing it.

Does anyone else have this problem? What is it and how do you fix it? I attached a picture that shows you the brown soap and some of the debris.

Your mix is comining into contact with some metal somewhere, bandclamp something like that. The metal is oxidizing and turning your mix rusty.

Explain what your using to bypass, is it metal?

I used a band clamp once to attach a strainer to a pickup, hose same thing happened. The rust is contaminating your mix.

I don't see how you can use a bypass if you have detergent in it without it foaming like crazy. If it's a bypass like a PW setup that is.

Just saw a post about the bypass on the newer Bandit, I have an old school bandit with the regulator.

Anyway, that's definately rust, if you have any connections in the tank use the nylon hose clamps not steel.

www.mcmaster.com has them, check page 254 of the catalog.
