Best hose of 2011?

I have not had such good luck with pressure hose this year. My unit is 3500psi with hot water. I have been using the cheapo spray flex one wire hose (4000psi 3/8). I've gone through at least a hose a month! I understand every 2-3 months but this is too much!

I would like to stick with the one wire since I'm usually a one man show and no no one pulling my hose.

Just wondering if anyone would like to share their good experience with a particular brand?

Doesnt sound right a hose a month are the ends coming off or just getting holes in them?If you are gonna be running alot of heat the 2 wire is the better option.Still a hose a month sounds like your spike pressure may be to high unloader out of ajustment?

Getting holes in various places, some in the middle and some close the ends. I'm not sure what my spike pressure should be but I'll check it tomorrow and check back. I run heat about 15% of the time.

Call united hose. They have good prices and great customer service. CALL UNITED HOSE.

I agree united hose is the best bang for buck hose out there. i use the r17 1-wire 3/8 for everything and i can get up to 5- months and i run some high heat and beat the crap out of it. there so cheap that when they blow its pointless to fix them just get some more. I dont DS anything and only run soap and bleach and maybe some degreaser but they do last long enough for me. The one i have on now is mostly steel braid and its still alive. Its about 5 months now.

lol. :indecisive::indecisive:

I switched over from R1 hose last summer and bought two 100-foot Goodyear R2 - 4500 psi blue non-marking hoses. Been using them daily for a year without a single issue (25% is hot water cleaning). I will occasionally use a blue R1 cheapo hose for some residential or condo soft-washing when I am climbing up on 2nd or 3rd story balconies as it is lighter.

I use the Hotsy brand r2 hose not any problems with them except the price is high, I DS with them all the time and use hot water 100% of the time and perform 95% of the work by my self the hoses are not that heavy to drag around.
