Buying Bank Repo Equipment

I would try to cut the third parties out if you can. Check out sites that promote the auctions themselves like Farm and Dairy.

Any type of sale like that typically is a "as is sale" meaning buyer beware with no returns. Usually you can't even test it out. Plus keep in mind anybody or company that didn't make the proper payments on that equipment probably didn't take the best care of it. But I'm sure you can find some great deals it's just a little bit of a gamble.

Thanks for your reply. I actually found a deal that I would take unless the truck has salvage title or lien on it. I am waiting a call from these guys.
I am more concerned about how and who do I pay?

These are the guys I am talking about: emp ireinv entory . com (put together)

Thanks

I called about a machine that was for sale on craigslist. it was repossesion. 20hp belt drive landa. cold water. $2500 and he wouldnt budge off the price.

This is a truck actually, I am trying to buy. I need it for parts, but still would want the truck to have clear title with no liens.

The one selling a repo be it equipment or a vehicle is allways a 3rd party broker. Thier commision is based on what they sell it for and since they do not have to phiscally store or care for it they hold out for maximum price. On a vehicle mmake sure there are no mechics liens, 2nd titles ( title loans) on them if there are walk you will never get a free/clear title on it.
