Landed a lot of work with Sonic restaurants doing flatwork and canopy cleaning. Man these canopies are really nasty but are cleaning up very nice. The owners are very pleased with results. I have been doing these with no contract per say. The owners want this service at least 2 times per year. All of my commercial jobs are done without any papered contracts. As I am growing my company at what point should I be doing a signed contract? Maybe it's time to start.IMG_0576.jpg
 
Contract everything......especially commercial. I learned a long long time ago, a handshake deal can easily turn into a swift kick in the @$$. If someone has an issue with signing a contract for the work, its a good sign that they are considering burning you when it comes time to pay.

I agree and we have a couple people out if 1000s that we take a handshake.

If they are on a signed contract will take a verbal on extras, often a simple email to clarify

Rance do you have My Agreement?

I will Throw a Few on UAMCC. there is and Old version here that works also, just a Few Tips as to words to Use, STOP Saying CONTRACT!! SCARY

Use Work Order , Agreement, proposal anything but CONTRACT

No Ron I do not but will look for it. "STOP Saying CONTRACT!! " Understood. Thanks for the help everybody. Much appreciated!
