Cleaning a camper black stains

I clean roofs , havent delt with vehicles and dont plan to , but I have a question , I have a 2000 mallard camper , its painted aluminum , there seems to be 2 types of finish on it , half is easy to clean and the other half has black stains over it . I have tried a mix of bleach it didnt work .Is there any cleaner that you guys use that works ? matt

I have a white trailer that is gets the same black streaks. I use F-13 to remove them. I believe it is Potassium Hysdroxide. PWS Streak Lighting also works.

I had a camper trailer that had the black stains on it..... I used simple green mixed 50/50 with water and the black came off with a little scrubbing.

simple green works because of the butly in it thats a good choice for a base in a camper cleaner.

If you have any stains that are hard to come off use Gutter Zap.

Ive used that to clean them. worked well.

A good strong detergent works well the sodium/potassium hydroxides will do the trick. don't make them too strong though you can damage the paint. I prefer the sodium metisilicate based detergents myself I find them to work just as well and the risk of damage is much lower. They also have a buffering quality that reduces the efflorescence properties that the hydroxide based cleaners possess.
