Commercial Roof Cleaning In Orlando, Florida

I was raised In Wauchula, Fla (south of Orlando)
Moved to Ga in 1987, been washing since 1999

My question is when I go home In my area I have never seen any pressure washing businesses.
I had always thought if I ever moved back home ..I could not make a living in Wauchula!
All you guy in the biz down there, can you make any money in the rural areas or do you have to be work in Lakeland, Winterhaven, Orlando, Tampa and other bigger areas?

Don, I like to say thanks for your response.I do have a few more questions. If i have a ground man watering as Im rinsing there would be no reason to tarp.Second question is how much applesauce is recomended. Is just enough to give the roof a wet look or more like run off.And last whats the dwell time and should I only do enough area that can rinse before it dries. Here in Florida it dont take very long to dry. Thanks

Nathan wants to come down to Florida this year and hangout for a few days with you guys. He really wants to do one of those large roof jobs with ya! We are going to be bidding on a local hotel that oddly has a dirty roof (first one I have found in Denver). 3 stories high. I will take some photos and post them.

1 more question. What kind of boots are you wearing on that tile roof? Don't those get reallyslippery?

hey Don,
My mom and step dad own a time share condo in Orlando and we will be down for i think about two weeks in June. Do you think maybe one of those days i could come help yah and we could bounce some ideas off each other?

Sure, maybe you can teach me how to dance too.....:D

BTW Scrappy, I'm originally from Madisonville, KY. Not too far from your neck of the woods.

Hi Nicole,

Copyscape is good to use on some of the "cheaters" sometimes. Send them an email and just let them know that you know they "borrowed" some of your text.

That's Wayne (WEW) in the pic with the white rubber boots. He's no longer in the business, but I used to sub part of the commercial work to him, Big Pete and Ken (KJ). They're known as shrimper's boots and have a very small, fine tread on them rather than the large lug treads that are normally found on rubber boots. I personally like to wear hiking boots on roofs, but many others wear the white rubber ones. Just too stylish for me....lol.

Glad to hear your enjoying yourself Chris
Well, it has been DEAD for roof cleaning in Tampa lately. We were busy for awhile, but thought we would take advantage of this lull to drop a line in the water.
