Concrete Cleaning; grease/oil

Im interested in hearing member's opinions on the most effective and environmentally friendly chemicals for removing grease/oil stains on concrete.

Frankly, the best solution I have found is kitty litter - the cheap kind. If the spill is old, spread on stain, grind it in with your shoe until pulverized, then sweep it up. The finely ground clay will pull a lot of oil from the pores of the concrete. Of course, I do mostly residential, so I usually deal with relatively small areas.

I sprinkle Kitty litter down and wet it a little... Then clean the concrete with hot water 3000 @ 4gpm .. ( SURFACE CLEANER ) and Water.. Then when I am thru with the rest of the concrete I go back and sweep up the damp Kitty Litter and wash the area with a light caustic solution and the surface cleaner...Got to have Hot water to effectivley clean up oil spots...
