LOL, that's for sure! There was a Roof Cleaner in Tampa once who used to buy Roller Pumps from them, then return them when they failed.
He told me he took some brillo pads inside the chamber to clean the rust off.
Grainger is pretty good about returns too, especially if you buy using an account like my Brother, who is a Brandon FL Air Conditioning Contractor and buys a LOT of stuff from them.
LOL, I seriously know a roof cleaner here in the Tampa Bay area who has not bought hose in over 6 years!
He buys the lifetime guarantee hose from Kmart, and brings it back when it fails (rinsed out, of course).

Guaranteed or not, failures cost all of us money. I prefer to buy stuff that fails as little as possible.
