The two questions I hear the most about pressure washers is. Why doesnt the thermal release valve release, and my injector seems to only work half the time but Im not sure.
Thermal relese valves are very important, they serve 2 points. When the triger is off h20 recycles over and over, as time goes on the temp of the introduction of new h20 could crack the porsolen plungers. Temp release valves are ment to release at 140, at 180 to 210 your killing your seals, gaskets, and plungers solutions after market replacement 40 percent of pumps are the same size threads. I go threw 2 a year and have purchased many machines where the stock one didnt work at all.
As to injections out of the box 2 major problems. Some workwork some dont ratials verie from heavy to barely. The biggest problem is that many injectories are right next to the pump. This is fine for soap but not for corrosives. Pumps typical cycle the chemicals back into the pump. The rule of thumb for adjustable is ok for soaps, no way for corrosives. For more information about corrosive injection systems and brick cleaning see Brickblast.net Im JJ Jones Im the owner of Brick Blast cleaning in Kansas City Mo.
