could you ask for a check if you left a job like this?

The sand was broomed across the pavers and sealed in. About half the joints had no sand at all, and others had it so high it looked lik grout.
This was a pool remodeler a condo hired.
Train your damn people, dont just send out your lowest paid guy and say clean, sand and put some sealer on. Good grief!

contractor sent the same kid out that ruined it to pressure wash it off. after about 2 hours of work 1 of the board members came out and chased him off the property. what a mess. But I have seen worse also.
I'm fixing 1 next week that the guy hired the same contractor to fix his own problems and kept making it worse and worse. The customer actually paid him both times. Then when he called again to try to get him to fix the latest problem the guy said he was closing his business and didn't come back. Then had the nerve to leave a flyer in his mailbox 2 weeks later. its amazing how some contractors operate.

Low bid gets the job, customer gets low quality work. Lost a fence clean and seal job to the low bid, customer called to ask me to come out and see if I can fix what they did. I'll look at it tomorrow, not sure if I can fix or will have to strip and reseal. 105K fence installed three years ago.

Post pics of the hack work, that would be interesting to see and then your work pics to show how it should have looked if price was not the deciding factor.

You mean they were not looking for that beach/pool deck area complete with sand??? LOL
