down streaming???

Any general start up question can be answered in depth simply by using the search feature of this site at the top of the home page menu.

For KEC use the 3gpm would be best – less water, less clean up problems.:) :)

I have used the search functin and read about every theard here. I was thinking 4gpm would be to much, but since you guys are downstream I was wonder that it is doubling your water and how much it weaked you chemicals.

Funny i started this thread in search of just knowing what down streaming is..
now it is my main source of application,
crazy what you don't know tell you ask the pro's with their help on this site and the help of the best site around period. THE GREASE POLICE i have since improved my cleaning techniques and standards by a 10000%
jut want to say Thanks to all you guys out their.......:D

Those guys at the Grease Police are a bunch of jerks, they never helped me with anything.... :p

That's good to hear Gary. A lot of us at the Grease Police met on this board so there is a TON of info on this board as well. If they would just take all the flatwork stuff off this board it would be the bomb too :D

Just kidding guys.

I'm always purfeshinul.

To make an attempt to get the thread back on track, I don't know if you guys do this, but I put a ball valve on my sucker tube for the DS'er. That way it doesn't suck in air when I want to rinse. Don't know if sucking in air would hurt anything, but I just didn't like how it ran when it was sucking air.

Thant;s a good idea, Ant...Thanks
and yes this site is awesome to:cool: i learned a lot of info from here as well..

also do you guys put any soap in with your chem while DS'in.. i found putting some in makes it a bit sticky.. then i just rinse with my normal nozzle.
something about 200 degree soapy chem at 4gpm works well...Go figure..

I've been using the xjet for a long time, but would like to go to downstreaming. My question is, should I use something like this? http://www.pressuretek.com/hilowvano.html or should I use just a QC Nozzle? If I should be using a QC Nozzle, can someone tell me which one I should use? I'd like to order that from pressuretek asap.

Thanks guys,

don;t no much about any thing but depending on the machine you are using a #40 tip at the angel of your choice will draw at a high rate.. you can always e-mail or call the good guys at pressuretek... they would be more than willing to help.

Thanks Gary, I've met Bob from Pressuretek before, so I will probably give him a call. It would be a lot easier than hauling a bucket around all the time with the xjet, just need to make sure I get the right nozzle for the job.

I just saw Rons video.... Come on Ron Change out those O-Rings Buddy....LOL

I had an oring leak problen when I used the brass quick connects all the time but when I switched to the stainless quick connects they dont tear up orings as bad... I am just ruff on fittings... Like dragging them 200 feet on the concrete when I roll my hose up and stuff...

Ron, are you Just now catching up with 4 1/2 year old threads?
