Draining to a sanitary sewer

Anyone have any idea how long it takes to drain a tank to a sanitary sewer? I know it depends on the tank size and hose used. Anyone doing this? What is the maximum diameter hose that can be used and how many GPM can be dumped?

I think it took about 15 minutes. That is a 500 gallon tank.

You may want to check with your local POTW because different size lines can handle different volumes. Most should be able to handle at least 100 gpm and your line size may vary based on your dumping location.

are you supposed to get permission or a letter from some agency to get access to one first?

Your in a rural area andi'm just curious. i would think most are just septic that eventually get pumped? Is that correct?
