Draw rate?

Just but the X-jet...... get 100' of hose... if it doesn't draw..... keep cutting down 10' sections until it does draw. I prefer my 50' of hose.....I don't have to move the bucket/tote as much.

Matt, as I previously posted, the manufacturer says the maximum hose length is 30' (I called them) before the strength of the solution starts to diminish. That you've found that 50' works is great to know. But at 50' wouldn't you need to be just about dead level with the pail? In other words, when out that far there might be no draw strength left to pull vertical such as up on a ladder?

Ahh.. very good to know.. I don't go vertical with mine ( or haven't yet). I did make a sealed tote... FPT hose barb with hose attached to a pickup screen..and a 90 mpt barb on the outside of the lid... So the pick up is always at the bottom ( no curling )... I got tired of walking the pickup out of the fiver..

i had to change my X-jet oriface to a #16 i think when i went from 4gpm to 8Gpm

Sodium hydroxide, I use 2/3 cup in a fiver. Looking to get it cheaper. I buy it on ebay 15 lbs for $60.

Russ sells it. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than that.
