electric to gas direct drive, rotation specific

I think I know the answer to this but thought I would ask. Is there a conversion gear drive or something to reverse the rotation of a small engine to direct drive (with lovejoy) a vac blower that was originally powered by an electric motor.Or is the only option to flip the small engine and mount in line for a belt drive system...

I'm thinking that if you spin the blower in the opposite direction, the in and out ports would be reversed.

But there is no gear reversal that I know of.

Non traditional setup here...would love to hear opinions on it. I do trade work with a local carwash/gas station and I ended up with two old Hanna CarWash systems central vac units. These powered a 6 hose line each and pulled pretty hard, they lifted water a good 10ft all the way down the line. We upgraded them to a newer set up. So I rebuilt one so far and want to put a 20-25hp gas on it. Trying to build another set-up beside the Sirocco PEV2 that im running. I want some more sucking power!

Yep, I took the rotors all off the shaft and restacked it because some junk was in there and the bearing had gone out causing some rubbing. The electric motors that were on them were 3470rpm, so I figured gas at load would be close.

I dont remember the exact specs but these are 15hp electric motors, would require a huge generator... trying to get away from the generator actually cause thats what im using now for my PEV2.
