End of the Pavilion

We took my boy and our niece & nephew to the Pavilion for the last time. The Pavilion is in the heart of Myrtle Beach and has been there for over 58 years. Its owned by the largest owner of land & properties in SC. Its a shame to see it go. They are tearing it down to build a waterfront boardwalk and high end condo towers, cafe's & shops.

Many many families have come to the beach and the Pavilion for decades and its just to bad its going

Life keeps moving on-In looking at your photos it appears that it was an amusement park. One only wonders what the insurance impact was on the owner of the park-every month you hear about injury at a park. It is the litigious world we live in.

My buddy owns those bouncy ballons that kids go in at Birthday parties and events. His Insurance is 4800 for one year. Now think of it for this park. It has to be 25000 a month.

Seemed like Yesterday, I saw that place. Should have built it near the beach.

Anyone done anything with the empty property yet?
