I'm looking for some software that will allow me to use my computer as a fax to send out large group faxes. My Fax machine will only do 30 at a time and I want to do way more than that.

I don't like to spend money I don't have to, so I am preferably looking for a system that will not require me to also go through an online system.

Any help would be great!

A couple questions.
Do you know if it has to be run on an older version of windows? or do you think I could run it on Vista? I have 4 computers here already so I would prefer not to have another sitting around :)

Secondly, do I need to set up a fax modem or can I hook my phone line directly to my computer?

Lastly, do you know what your response rate is on new customers? I'd hate to send out 10000 and have 500 call in the first week $$$$$$$$. lol! I want to grow, I'd just prefer to do it steadily :victory:

Check your laws and Dont listen to someone look at them yourself. People on the Web dont get it....They read black & white and theres a legal way to do this in the states.

I am with www.Unityfax.com and www.faxorama.com. They are basically the same company. The Faxorama just offers web based sending fax solution. The prices are unbeatable and the service is awesome. Very simplified and user friendly compared to other e-fax solutions.
Call these guys or just sign up.

Efax is very different and has fee's. This program in free

Ron, WinFax Pro is computerized land phone line service. You still need to have a land phone line, modem (new machines dont include modem any more) and pay phone service. The e-fax solution and I am not talking about efax.com (I tried these and they are RIP OFFS) eliminates completely the paper and phone line. You receive the faxes on PDF file and when send faxes you can use any type of file: pdf, JPG, DOC, DOCX, any other MS office file and etc.
What are the advantages:
1. better organization: you manage what to print out what not. Many people in an office can have their own number for low cost. You dont need to use a scanner when send faxes directly from attached file. Quallity is much better.
2. Enviromently friendly, Go green and save a tree by not printing everything that comes on the fax :).
 
For anyone who is interested, I have not been able to get my hands on WinFax. I did however find a program called VentaFax that seems to be working nicely.

The business version is only 99$

If you buy a service it will get expensive. Even a penny will ad up, are you sure on eBay you couldn't find it?
 
I've been watching since we started this thread. This is not a service though, it still needs to hook up to a fax line and only the business version offers the large group broadcasts in an unlimited amount.

I have not yet sent out thousands, but I have played with it and it seems to work nicely. It seems to be similar to the old WinFax.

I use Ureach, Its like $10 a month they give you a toll free fax# and you use your scanner to send documents. as an e-mail almost. then its recived on the other end as a fax. been using it scince i started and and it still hasnt failed me yet.
 
Ive got a list of about 600 potential clients in a spreadsheet. Im working on calling and getting fax numbers entered in for all of them. About 500 still to go.... It seems like a saw mention somewhere of a program where I could fax to these from the spread sheet. Much like doing a mail merge for labels.

Ive got a fax machine and land line. I just havent figured out how to send more than one fax at a time.
 
I was just browsing and came across this post.

I never was able to find the software that Ron uses however I did find and purchase a different one. It is called VentaFax and it works well. The cost was 100$ for the business version and it simply downloads to your computer. This software uses a phone line.

They also have a free trial that you can use. ventafax.com

I wonder if you get a different version, i'm going to look am. This would be cool to have a new program that works and blasts. In the usa so many co stopped selling them. LAWS...not that its agaist the law people used them to break laws
