Foaming??!!

Hey. New guy here.

I bought a hood cleaning company a couple of years ago and they guy I bought it from owned it for 12 years but never really used foam so I can't ask him. I have no clue when it comes to foaming agents to use with sodium hydroxide nor the best foaming machine or gun to use. Is there a way to use the downstream on the pressure washer, or will it dilute the mix too much? I currently use a fairly strong mix. 1-1/2 cup sodium hydroxide to 1 gallon of water. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I have a job coming up that hasn't been cleaned properly in years so the shafts are chock full of hard grease plus the restaurant has been shut down for 4 months so the grease is even harder. I'd love to be able to foam the shafts. Maybe even have a "Spinner" type applicator that will go down the vertical shafts. I hope this all makes sense!!

I understand the importance of using foaming agents to help remove tough dirt and grime from vehicles. When selecting a foaming agent, it's crucial to find one that is compatible with the cleaning solutions we use. For example, some foaming agents work better with certain types of soap or degreaser.

In terms of equipment, there are many foaming machines and guns available on the market that work well for mobile car washing. However, it's important to choose one that is compatible with the foaming agent being used and follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

While downstreaming on a pressure washer may be a tempting option, it can dilute the mix too much, reducing the effectiveness of the foaming agent. As a result, I prefer to use a dedicated foaming machine or gun to apply the foam directly to the vehicle.

As a mobile car washer, I always do my research to find the best products and equipment for my needs. By using the right foaming agent and application method, I can ensure that my customers' vehicles are left looking clean and shiny.
