General Pump pressure head interchangeablity

Im working on a GP 63 series TX1508A direct mount hollow 1inch shaft. This model has the built in unloader and bypass. The guy is using this pump for fleet washing and frequently has the thermal relief pop on him due to running in bypass and over heating. Packing assymblies are toast but wondering if a traditional style pressure head could be put on this pump with an external unloader so it would be possible to run bypass water back to the buffer tank. Is there an interchangeable pressure head? Thanks

I have that same pump. I was going to use it with a 4040ez to tie two washers together. I would like to know that too. I am wondering if you could remove the built in unloader. plug up the hole and put an external unloader with a bypass hose to a float tank. I actually came across that on some website where the guy said he did that.

yes, the TX series heads are replaceable for heads without unloader.
I should have a head for each of you..
call me if you like..
we can pre-install a "proper" unloader, and high-volume bypass, or whatever you need.
