Anyone have a solid grip on the going rate for graffiti removal?

Thinking about offering this as a primary service, but curious on what the financial outcome would look like. Any insight from fellow washers on this side of the field at all would be appreciated.

Never know, I may even give you a big ol' kissy.

That sounds like a good deal. I hope my northernly location and slight distance away wont hamper my chances. jk. You would not want to try to do it as a primary service but you could offer it to new or existing customers. I dont know about down there but up here its usually a hair more than pw'ing. If you need help getting a few customers that require very little equipment and skill to help out I can give you a hand. One tip if thats both of you in your avatar and if so I assume your running the business together She would be a great saleperson. With all due respect and no offense at all I bet she would knock them dead cold calling. I assume nick is your name you need only to worry about a 1 man crew for a while so you do most of the washing and she can do the phone stuff and all the other office kinda stuff so you can dedicate all your time to washing being very efficiant that way.
She can help you out with some bigger jobs, Using a surface cleaner or switching valves for you. If you bust your butt you can make a good honest living and have some fun. Good luck and anytime you need help just ask.

Hey thanks man. I am Nick, and that is my ladeh. If you have customers you can spare I would love the opportunity!

Right now it is me and a sales guy. My main thing is lining up those contracts and getting started. I have everything I really need to do a good job starting out. Some things I would love to have, but that is how business is built. No problems with busting my butt, just happy to be doing it for myself and deciding where that money goes for a change.

As far as her, she is much like me in the way of a creative. That being said, she is going on tour this fall across the US to promote her music. I figured this is a great time to start a new business, being that there wont be nearly as much stress in relation to us, as we will both be gone rather than her feeling neglected because I have so many things to get in order.

Let me know on the customer front man, and thank you very much for the friendly response.

No worries. Sounds like she is starting to go somewhere with her music career, thats a harder business to get into than pw'ing. It makes more money as well. You need to Go visit a couple close car dealerships. Put a nice shirt on and a friendly smile and pick the closest car lot and talk to the manager. If you get this far you need to have a price on a service. The service should be a high pressure water rinse. They can do it as frequently as they choose but you need to price differentyl. Say it takes you 1 hour for 50-60 cars. Thats what I consistently do. Get your target hourly in your head and divide it by your cars you can do an hour I would price for 50 you will be 30-40 your first few times but you will get 50 in no time. If they were just gonna call you when they need them done give them a slightly higher price. have three numbers for them occasionly, monthly and weekly. I assume you have hard water in your area like most of the states. does your setup have a DI system or the almighty RO? Also Small mom and pa shops would be an easy building type wash to get into. Not much needed for that stuff. Go into the local pizza place and get some lunch and possibly an awing or sidewalk wash or whole building wash.
