We have been serving a diner for a while and they asked us to clean th building. We have been doing the window cleaning for them. The diner is all chrome and glass with neon on the top of the building. We don't do any fleet washing but I was wondering if for the chrome, fleet wash chems would do the job? Anyone have any experience shooting a chromed up diner? I don't Think she wants to pay for hand tooling the chrome :)

Cant wait to hear insight on this because we have been aske to clean one in our area as well.

Make sure that you use a non streaking soap. You might have to brush it, similar to a truck. That is simple enough. Actually, if you use Dawn as your soap, you will likely be okay, because it is designed to rinse spot free. I would use D.I. or RO water as the rinse, to avoid spots. It is a bit of a different animal, and will probably be harder then you are used to, because of the differences between paint and chrome.

How's this for an approach? Soft wash (100 PSI) hot water and soap. Use a DI/RO brush system w/brush and rinse?

Sounds like a Sub it out kinda job unless your used to doing fleet/truck washing.
