Honda or Subaru engines?

The skid I am looking at comes with the Honda GX690 and I think there is the possiblility of getting the Subaru on it. Do you all have a preference as to which might be a better engine. I like the Kohlers myself but it is not an option here.

The Subaru has a big charging system on it very good if you get a 12volt system with the burner.

I have had quite a few Hondas over the years and they have been reliable. I have only had one Subaru and I liked it a lot it was a small hp model though.

It has got an 8gpm pump on it. It would be going into a box truck. All new setup. It's a Pressure Pro 8115PRO30HG.

I would say Honda, for parts availability if nothing else, however the Suburus are made in Japan and North America supposedly, unlike the New Hondas that are made in China now.
