How to safely clean a huge roof?

I had a job a few days ago that was a 3 story home with a 10:1 pitch roof that was huge.. When I say huge it was huge.. Couldn't walk it at all and of course there was about a 10-15mph wind that just was just killing my range and blowing chemicals right back into my face lol.. To top it off it had 4 shutter style windows that came through the roof and had ugly shingles ontop of them and of course they always get in the way.. What do you do in the event you are only able to reach the edge of a roof that steep and cannot reach the peak with your pumps.. Just curious what everyone else does in that situation because it was frustrating.

**PS: I was able to finish the job and reach the peak by being very creative and visiting Lowes, I did searches which yielded nothing on this subject and just wanted to shine some light on it..

Haven't had one yet that we haven't been able to get. We have used extension wands to reach some that were pretty big.

Bingo! We use 3,ft 6ft ,and 10 ft extention lances if needed.

Jason,

We use a 60' telescoping pole fitted with quick connects for using differing tips. I have a two hour instructional video on how to clean all types of roof surfaces and all sizes of roofs here,

We break down how we clean this McMansion in the presentation as well.

Call any of our dealers to purchase the Lead Tech Certification Package at a nearly 70% off of list price for all 8 modules.

I use 8 foot 1 3/8 concrete sectional poles to scrub gutters and shoot high pitched roofs. Just attach the hose / nozzle to the pole adapter.
