image.jpgIncludes two 175 gal tanks, hose reel 200' hose, 13 hp Honda with an AR rkv 4g36 pump and another AR pump with no motor. Are the AR pumps reliable? Does not include trailer

i personally think so, the guy i spoke with at water cannon seemed too think highly of the ar pumps, didn't try to pressure me into buying one but said they were in the ballpark of cats and generals (not my words) . I'm not an expert but i woud base it off of how expensive it is to rebuild it in case he abused them. id say there's probably nearly $400 bucks in the two tanks, hose, reel, and Honda. i work at a pawn shop full time so i base my personal decisions off of what i could resell it for. i know those tanks bring a premium on craigslist in my area.

I had absolutely horrible luck with AR'S. I was rebuilding the pumps at 50 hours and doing oil seals at 100 hours. The larger frame pumps seem to be better, but the rk18's are worth much more then an oil leaking paperweight.
I replaced all of them with Legacy pumps. I have twelve machines with them. I have not rebuilt a single one, and some are north of 1000 hours.

If the engine runs good, you've definitely got 400 there.

scotts experience is worth way more than my second hand hearsay but i think even selling the ar and buying a general would still be worth it (my two cents)

I have have had really good luck with ar pumps an so has granpaw.I think there are lemons in all this stuff sometimes or another.I would just run the stuff an see how everything feels However If it's for make money I would save up an get new kinda like underwear wouldn't want to buy used underwear.

The tanks and hose reels are worth that alone and the rest is gravy.

+1 never hurts to have extra parts for your arsenal.

400.00 not too bad. IMO
