is Walmart having Problems Paying Service People?

I'm just saying I have had a heck of a time getting paid. I have faxed my invoice packet ... yes packet to them 5 times now. No one seems to find it on file. Finally had the local GM call her home office who deals with USM. Still no help. The b!tch of it is the fact that I marked my invoices "fast pay" which is the same as 5/10. no biggie. but it has been over 60 days now ....

They have damaged my relationship with USM and walmart...the GM of our local store isn't happy because she really wanted us to do the landscape maint. this year. I told her i'm not interested bc it's not worth the extra headache of dealing with USM.

I seen others on others sites, is Walmart not paying and vendors are affraid to talk?
 
Ron, I believe you are reading it wrong. I believe they are saying not getting paid from USM. We never had a problem getting paid from Walmart. And I dont remember walmart have a quick pay for less money. USM offers a quick pay at a reduced pay to you.

No problem getting paid from USM, I dont send them any bills. Dont work for them. If you want to talk on the phone about things, give me a call

I'm still receiving Payment from Wal-Mart, has it been smooth? Never is, Walmart has been like most Companies 45 to 60 days. Getting set up expect 90
 
I caught wind of a local contractor who had the landscaping on the 7 local stores and was scheduled to start next month with them. He got an email stating they were giving those to another contractor who had beat their price and gave him no option of matching the price or anything. There was also insurance changed hd had to do an add wc to his policy and the changes already cost him 1k but with the contract in place there was no worry till this email.

I don't shop much, but Shelly came in this weekend saying our Walmart has as much Mexican food and displays as English now.

Before I would have stood on the side of Walmart in most instances, because I believe in free enterprise, but this is clearly a display of the lack of leadership since the old man is gone and shows no loyalty to our country's "melting pot" philosophy. That's the one that says "come here and melt into our society" not "come here and force us to melt into yours".

Shelly overheard a little Mexican girl coming out of Walmart talking about something she couldn't understand. At the end the little girl said "that's just the way the whites are". That's all the conversation Shelly heard. She did think it was funny how each culture views the others as inferior. It is kindof funny. :)

On March 18, 2010 at the store in Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey an announcement was made allegedly saying: "Attention Wal-Mart customers - all black people leave the store now". Saw an article recently that Walmart was actually losing customers, not enough to hurt to bad. But walmart isnt always the lowest prices any more, even though thats what most people think. Target and other stores are putting a dent in them. Walmart to widen the aisle and make them look cleaner have dropped many products and stopped carrying the larger sizes of things and its hurting them

I remember the Buy American slogan they used to use and the signs all over the stores, ya they dropped that a long time ago when they got caught putting American Made labels on stuff from other countries. They actually had Bangladesh factories sewing in American Made labels. I remember when they got caught. Then for about a year they did a campaign saying when ever possible they would buy and sell American goods, it lasted about a year and never heard Buy American again from Walmart. :thud:By By Miss American Pie
