Isopropyl damage to 12v pump

Does adding isopropyl to a pure water tank and circulating through a 12v pump for long term winterizing damage the seals, valves, and diaphragms in the pump? I think I've heard that ethanol damages plastics and rubbers so I wonder about other alcohols. I don't want to use anti-freeze cause I want to keep the tds at 0.

I can't speak for others but we use wind shield wiper fluid until we shut down for winter at the end of the month. Thereafter, I just disconnect the 5850 and put it in the cabinet in the basement. This has worked for us since 2007.

I think considering the minimal cost difference, I would just buy the red antifreeze made for RV's and such. Raw alcohol could potentially dry the seals out. In fact the red antifreeze is a better deal by volume.

I've used RV antifreeze in my 12 volts for years without a hitch. I get lots of RV antifreeze from Walmart best price around.
