I'd keep it Vince. Truck looks to be in fine shape, and that 5.4 motor is a workhorse.

Having backup could save the day

I agree with you Guy. There have been a few times when I wish I could have just come home, swapped vehicles and went back to work. I might just put everything on a trailer though and sell the boxvan by itself.

This unit is still for sale. If you want this unit to have a fairly new General TS2021 5.6 GPM 3500 PSI pump and 18 HP Kohler then I'll swap the motors and pumps out that are on my flatbed and reduce the price a little.

The van is being put on hold for sale right now. My new truck is at the dealer for about 10 days waiting on a new long block engine from Ford to be put in. Luckily the $17,000 to $20,000 repair bill is covered under warranty.

What happened to the 6.7?? Seems to be pretty reliable so far.

The dealer said the tip on the #4 glow plug broke off inside the motor and damaged it pretty good. I started to pull a slight hill by my house this morning, started loosing power, the message "reduced engine power" came on, all the light on the dash came on and she quit. I got it off to the side of the road, tried to restart it and just one click. I thought maybe the timing chain might have broke at first. Guess I was wrong.

After careful consideration I have decided to sell the Box Van Only. No equipment will be included with the van. I'm taking offers for the van the equipment list below only.

I'll sell the 100 gallon chemical tank and 12v sureflo system with the hose and hose reel separately or with the van if anyone is interested. I'm ordering a new utility trailer and putting the rest of the stuff on it. The 2 tanks that are on my truck will go on the utility trailer and I'm putting the 535 gallon tank on my truck.

You have nothing to worry about with your truck Wesley. The engine failure on my truck is only happening to cab/chassis models and mostly 2011 year models. There is a 1/10th of 1 percent of this happening to this engine the way it did. Basically 1 in 175,000 odds I was told.

Here are some pictures of the motor from another truck that did the exact same thing as mine.
