Long-established Mobile Washing Business For Sale

Hi Vince,
Sure, I'd love to post some pics from the old days. I'll have to look for them because most of them are packed somewhere, but I'll post a few that I have in the office presently, and will post some old equipment photos when I locate them. In one of the photos posted today, the small, orange 1977 Dodge van with the logos was our very first truck.View attachment 27720View attachment 27721View attachment 27722

I like the idea of the box that raises, like the kind at the airport that bring drinks and stuff to the airplanes.

I wonder how much those cost when they sell them?

I bought that lift truck for $1200 back in 1982. I purchased it from a guy that had bought a few of those food service trucks from Bradley Airport in Connecticut. It was blue, with "American Airlines" on it, but we painted it orange like our first 1977 Dodge van. Not many miles on the odometer, but lots of hours on the motor. We used it a lot when we were restoring old brick buildings, and we could work off of the front ramp or the roof. It had a big six cyl. Ford motor, and was geared only for flat runway travel, so it wasn't very fast on the road, and had a rough time making it up long hills! Most of the cab was a hydraulic tank to supply those huge pistons that lifted the box. That was a great truck! We used it for about four years and then sold it to a roofer.
