ok so I finally broke down and decided that I need my own R.O unit. I found a 18 month old Reo-Pure Reverse Osmosis system. It produces up to 6000 gpd. The guy who had it only had a 500 gallon storage tank so I doubt he was using a full 6000 gpd. Any way it came with the carbon filter but not the softener. My question is what should I look for in a compatible softener. I bought a 2500 gallon storage tank and I currently run through about 3-3500 gpd on my rigs. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
