Anyone know what a good price is for dump trucks, aluminum whitened, hoods popped, engines cleaned? They are on gravel. I was thinking $35 each but I should have quoted $70 per hour that way I could have gone a little faster with less attention to detail.
 
how many at one location? I currently charge $60-80 each. but that is for a bump truck with trialer and just doing it for owner operators. If i am doing more than one at a time i will go much lower. It just depends on how picky they are and how many at one location.
 
I think that the $35 each is a good number then. I hate doing work by the hour. Its to easy to be under bid if your doing it by the hour. If your charge $70 an hour some kid can come in with a $300 setup and charge $50 an hour and end up making more than you would have because it takes him twice as long.
 
I think I would of charged $35 each w/o the allum brightening and the engine cleaning.
To include a acid wash and the engine wash I would of charged a extra $40 on top of the 35
