Making a new system out of old

Since I upgraded to my 8gpm system, my old 4gpm 4000psi system is just sitting in the garage. It is a direct drive. Since I already have the 13hp motor, how difficult would it be to convert it to a belt drive with a tsf2021 pump on it. Would like to add a second machine to trailer so one can do the building washing and the other can be cleaning sidewalks, driveways, etc.

I am actually looking for a 13 hp engine to attach to a gear reducer and a TS-2021 pump to give me a back up 5.5. For me, adding a gear is easier and very compact.

The gear drive would be a simpler install, and you can probably get by using your existing direct drive base instead of buying a new base too.

5.5 gpm at around 2500 psi

How well will gx390 with a gear driven 5.5gpm pump pull from a buffer tank? I too have my original unit and would like to step it up to a 5.5.

Gear drives can draw from a tank very well.
