Multi display adapters

I've used an external monitor and a 42 inch tv for quite a while on my main laptop but I can't use them at the same time.

I've gotten addicted to dragging and dropping screens to work on a bunch of things simultaneously and want to set up a 6 monitor array.

What is the most cost effective way to get output from a laptop to 6 monitors?

I've got plenty of usb ports, one SVGA port and one HDMI port on the laptop.
