Pepsi has hired me to wash thier trucks and they had me save their cc# on file to use. Ive in the past always manually ran the card and then sent a invoice that says paid by credit card to them.. this has been fine for everyone else... not pepsi.. they need a CC receipt too.. could you guys help me with wtf to do here..

Don't you have a credit card terminal? If not, your processing company should be able to supply you with one.

Maybe set-up a Paypal account, which automatically send both you and the customer a receipt. Plus PayPal does not have monthly fees, minimums, or a contract to sign.

hey paypal is a great idea but i dont know if these guys even know how to use a computer lol... i sent them a detailed invoice with paid by credit card on file and it wasnt good enough. I just need something to write everything on for him. he says the last guys just printed a receipt from cc machine and put truck numbers on it lol.. i guess i need a printer for my cc machine or some manual kinda cc receipts.

I have mine set-up on my website. All the customer need to do is find the website, enter the invoice number and hit the Pay Now button. I've yet had a customer that hasn't been able to navigate this option.

Some Corporate Customers will not allow you to use anything but a merchant terminal. FYI

I would find this out first, before you receive a letter that its agaisnt policy and you didnt read that in the vendor set Docs.

I'm not sure why you cant get a receipt? I'll assume you have no terminal like Russ was saying. I still think your Co will be able to supply you with a receipt. Have you called them for help?

Im going to call the company tomorrow I was just hoping I wouldnt have to buy a printer for this CC machine.

I've got a couple of old receipt printers you can have. I think one of them is serial and one is parallel, and I don't know what you will have to do to get the drivers, but the paper for them is at Office Max.

Let me know if you'd like to try one. They are leftovers from my dry cleaner days.

Stay away from paypal. Paypal is not insured and has no legal resouce for disputes, if the charge is disputed the money is removed from the account it was put into until the dispute is resolved. The resoloution can take anywhere from 30 to 120 days depending on the issues. Pay pal is fine for buyin on ebay ( ebay owns paypal) But for buisness uses it falls far far short. www.paypalsucks.com
I would suggest using quickbooks and thier CC sytem is secure legit and easy. It can even be downloaded to a smart phone and used in the field with a e-mail cc recipt or faxed to the client immediately.

Thank you guys for all the help!!! I found a good deal on a printer for my cc machine on ebay n got it! I got the box in and OMG the damn printer is bigger than I ever woulda thought.. lol.... i left it in the box till i do that job again.. things too damn big to put on my desk...
