I've been sifting thru old posts looking for ideas for new ladder rack. I like how the Jhooks have an enclosed opening (?) directly below the J, I guess made up of the base of the J and the support rod or strut.

Any out-of-the-ordinary ideas you can share about rack function? Welding begins tomorrow.
