I have a faulty microswitch in a PA pr16 pressure switch. Anyone know the exact model of microswitch? There is no part number on it. PA says its an in house p/n 12.5001.00. You can get a single switch online from electrical suppliers for like $3.00 but there are a few variables that I don't know(different ratings, actuation tolerances, etc). No need to pay $20 extra bucks for the housing and wires unless I have too:haha:

I have the replacement switches. I believe most are rated for at least 10 amps. There are 3/16" and 1/4" terminals on them. If you have 1/4" terminals, a 3/16" switch will fit. You may have to squeeze the wire terminals a bit to tighten them. If you've got 3/16" terminals, you'll have to use the same type switch.

Grainger's carries them... http://www.grainger.com/product/Button-Actuator-Miniature-WP110105/_/N-lge?s_pp=false
As does Johnstone Supply... http://www.johnstonesupply.com/storefront/product-view.ep?pID=G31-251
So do electronics and HVAC dealers.

I have bought them at Radio Shack before. A few years ago they pressure switches were less than reliable and it got to where I could change the micro switch out in about 3 minutes.

Ahhh, the good old days.
